The problem

Context-blind coding agents ship code that nobody can fully audit. The agent works in a closed box — it takes input, generates output, and leaves no trace of how it got there. When the code works, great. When it doesn't, you have no way to understand why. You can only try again and hope.

This is fine for a hobby project. It's not fine for anything that matters.

The thesis

AI-assisted development only becomes trustworthy when every decision is visible and every output is traceable. Not retroactively searchable. Not "trust us, we log things." Visible at the moment of execution. Traceable to the specific reasoning that produced it.

That's what Epalith is. A pipeline that shows its work. An execution runtime where the audit trail is the product.

What we believe

Determinism over flexibility. Six phases, strict order, no shortcuts. The pipeline is a constraint — and constraints are what make audits possible.
The agent explains itself or it doesn't ship. Reasoning isn't a nice-to-have. It's the primary artifact of every build. If you can't read the agent's reasoning, you can't verify its work.
Human approval is a feature, not a bottleneck. The plan is useless without your review. The scaffold is useless without your inspection. You are the oversight — Epalith makes you effective at it.
Enterprise software is honest about being early. We don't have fake logos. We don't have invented case studies. We don't claim certifications we don't have. We're pre-revenue and building in public.
